Inside designer Billy Innes all the time hoped to return to Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, close to her childhood residence in Merricks. ‘I wished to present my kids an identical upbringing; recent air, open areas, the seashores and away from town,’ she says.

It was her mother and father who found the proper web site –  an acre block in Flinders, inside strolling distance of the native kindergarten, city and naturally the seashore. ‘We immediately fell in love with the scale of the block and its location on a lifeless finish grime street with a cricket oval over the street,’ Billy says. 

After outgrowing the unique home on the location, Billy started designing her dream household residence, together with her father Micheal Innes, a semi-retired architect, and development by Bernie Everett Constructing.
