The Elemental Home by SSD Studio is strictly that. Constructed from pure supplies and nestled in a hillside of the Dooralong Valley on the NSW Central Coast, it’s directly constituted of and dissolving into the weather round it. ‘This home is one thing I’ve been designing in my head for a few years,’ says Michael, who has a background in development. ‘It was all the time my dream to create a house that showcased the uncooked components that encompass us from each day. Michael constructed the entire home himself over three years, with the assistance of retired builder Greg Allen. Impressed by the materials-focussed structure of Shaun Lockyer, a restricted materials palette helped to attach the constructing’s many massive areas.
