North Stradbroke Island is untouched and unpretentious – a wonderful stretch of wilderness ample with native flora and good ocean wildlife like dolphins, turtles, manta rays and whales. No surprise the those that enterprise there for holidays hold quiet about it!
This architectural seaside retreat is positioned at Level Lookout, on probably the most northeastern tip of the island. ‘As we appeared from the balcony in the direction of Moreton Island we noticed breaching whales on their yearly migration,’ stated proprietor, Judy Bauer, of the primary time she visited the property. ‘It was an indication!’
Judy bought the seaside home in 2017 from the architect, Shane Thompson. His three-storey design privileges the location’s expansive views out over the Coral Sea, and employs intelligent operable equipment to unfold the home throughout summer time. The outside is clad in terracotta tiles is a nod to the cement sheeting of conventional seaside shacks
