The Cutest Melbourne CBD Apartment Is For Sale!

This converted warehouse apartment in Melbourne’s CBD has been home to design teacher Melissa Avery, and electrician Christopher Lloyd, for the past 10 years.

Located in the 1875 Currie & Richards building (a three-storey, heritage-protected brick building originally used for tinware manufacturing), the 1.5 bedroom apartment (one enclosed bedroom, one mezzanine) is the ideal city pad for two.

The apartment has had plenty of lives since the 19th century, as evidenced by its purple feature walls and pink floral wallpaper that existed when Melissa and Christopher moved in 10 years ago!  ‘Luckily for me I married the handiest man around. Chris is amazing and can make or do anything,’ says Melissa. 

The couple slowly renovated the entire apartment over three years, restoring period features including exposed beams and an original sash window in the process.
